Englekake is an American form cake that is very airy and neutral in flavor. It may be added the flavors one might desire. This is made with lemon icing and chocolate sauce. A classic home with grandma.
Grease a 23 cm form or equivalent. Put the flour into the mold and shake around so the entire form is covered. This allows mincers the cake comes easily out of shape. Keep in batter and place in the oven. Bake for 35-40 min or until it gives in like a sponge.
